Eye Camps

In partnership with the Ophthalmology Department at Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital (NMCTH), Kathmandu, over the past several years HealthCare Nepal has sponsored many Eye Camps screening for various eye conditions. When needed, patients receive free medicines and glasses, and those requiring cataract surgery have the operation for free at NCMTH, with an average cost to HealthCare Nepal of $100. Comparable surgery in the United States can run between $3,000-$5,000.
